Hey everybody,
Just an update.. Tristan was born 10weeks early as you know. He was transferred to Baby ICU at Royal North Shore Hospital and on respiratory support.
The doctors removed the tube and any respiratory support by day 3.
He is still being nourished via IV but just today he is tolerating mothers milk and within a few days should be transferred back to a special care unit a bit closer to home for us.:)
He is changing everyday, looking better and better. Quite cute! He likes being cuddled and when awake his eyes are exploring.
Back to the delivery story.. Yenching experienced, what we were unsure of at the time, contractions last Thursday night. And as they worsened and continued regularly I was about to give a blessing and felt I should check with the doctor. We went in to labour ward for a check and within 10 minutes were being rushed to theatre. Baby was in breach position and she was fully dilated. The miracle was that if we had called even 5 minutes later our doctor would have went home and she said if yenching even sneezed baby would have breached.... Then it would have been a real emergency. Baby was delivered quite traumatically and very bruised. But as you can see is looking a lot better now.
Thank heavens, we've been so blessed again.
Mosiah 24:14 comes to mind. Our burdens were made light somehow that we haven't felt them!
